“ Excellent staff. Tessa was a wonderful help, very friendly. She made us feel seen and happy. Interesting place. We are passing through going to TN. Had a nice time. ”
“ Good stop for a hearty BBQ lunch in small town place with caring service! We had chopped brisket sliders & sandwiches, and they were delicious! Lean chop not too much fat. BBQ sauce was really good too but the meat alone was so tasty. Cute little salad bar as well. Recommend stopping if you are also traveling in the area. ”
“ So perfect after so much Christmas. The food was warm in the tummy. Tess was as kind as ever. Even got some waves from fellow diners! ”
“ Here are my thoughts on Smokey Bros BBQ The Good - On the road to Texas Tech from Dallas - Good prices - FREE BEANS - Forgot to charge me for peach cobbler The Bad - Ribs and Brisket were average - Awkward checkout because we accidentally went to the kitchen to pay haha This is one of the only restaurants besides fast food in Seymour. It has a community feeling because many locals eat here including the Sheriff, and has great food compared to your other options in the area. It's not quite as good as famous BBQ elsewhere in Texas, but I really can't fault it for much other than that. It's just a solid local barbecue joint. ”
“ This authentic roadhouse is a must on the drive to Dallas through West Texas. Save room for the limitless and well prepared pinto beans. Definitely choose their 'salad wagon' as your side of barbecue, and choose all the meats you can. Their quality of product and service are both superb. My family thanks Smokey Bros for welcoming them to Texas on our way back from DFW! ”
“ Highly recommend. Good people and amazing food. We had the 3 meat plate with Cole slaw and potato salad. It did not disappoint. Salad bar looked great too. Drinks and beer available. ”
“ Stopped in yesterday with a friend for late lunch. Cold beer good food and the lady that waited on us was a sweetheart. Will be a new stop for me when I'm in the area. ”
“ My husband and I visited this establishment on a road trip, a quick google search for BBQ lead us there. So glad we stopped! I ordered the jalepeno cheese sausage and brisket, came with two sides, I chose waffle fries and Mac n cheese. The food is all flavorful and the BBQ sauce was delicious! Mac n cheese was creamy, fresh and piping hot, the waffle fries were freshly made and a little crispy, (perfect in my opinion) my husband ordered both sausage options on the menu, his two sides were waffle fries and Cole slaw. He wasn’t a big fan of the Cole slaw but thoroughly enjoyed the rest of his food. The atmosphere were quaint and cute with an (enclosed)outside seating area. The staff were all friendly, we were even greeting by some other customers (locals I’d assume) that were dining when we walked in. Our bill came to 35 and some change so very affordable. We were served more than we could finish so I’d say a great price! All in all, I’d rate a 9/10, only because the meat was served a little on the cooler side. ”
